Our candle story began with a love for art. While working as a freelance graphic specialist and selling my fine art at a local farmers market, I quickly learned how challenging the art world can be. Wanting to complement my artwork with a handmade product, I turned to something I already loved—candles.

What started as curiosity soon became a craft. I had no idea how much went into making a truly great candle. My dad stepped in, and together we spent more than two years perfecting our signature tin candle. With no online tutorials at the time, we learned the old-fashioned way—through experimentation, testing every wax we could find, discovering what worked and what didn’t, and gifting candles for honest feedback. Eventually, we began selling them at the same local market, where we quickly built a loyal following.

After a brief pause while I returned to school, my dad retired from candle making and my husband stepped in, creating Mantorch. Together, we reemerged as twindles, inspired by the arrival of our twin boys. Today, we continue to hand-wick and pour our candles in small batches from our twindles home studio. We take pride in crafting clean-burning candles that are thoughtfully made, safe for your home, and rich with long-lasting fragrance.
